Overview

This tour offers the best views of any experience on Waiheke Island. You will visit three of the island’s world-renowned vineyards for wine tastings, along with a lunch stop at The Batch Winery, which boasts breathtaking 360-degree views of the Hauraki Gulf. From this vineyard, you can enjoy the stunning sights of Auckland and the iconic Rangitoto Volcano. During the tour, you will sample a wide range of artisan wines and learn about the island from your local guide’s engaging commentary. We will visit the finest cellar doors on this tour, sampling award-winning wines and discovering the island’s unique winemaking conditions at each location. Our itinerary starts with tastings at 11 AM, followed by lunch (at your own cost), and then we will head to Onetangi Valley for additional wine tastings. The grand finale will take place at The Mudbrick Vineyard. All vineyards offer breathtaking views, showcasing picturesque villages, beautiful beaches, lush vineyards, and charming homes.

Waiheke Wine Tours LTD is located on Waiheke Island, so you must take a ferry from Auckland to reach the meeting point. Your tour guide will be waiting for you at 10:40am at Pier 2 of the Matiatia ferry terminal on Waiheke Island, holding a welcome sign with your name ... on it.
