Arrive at downtown Auckland ferry terminal located at 99 Quay st. at 8:15am to ensure you make the 09:00 am Fullers sailing from Auckland to Waiheke Island. Ferry tickets can be purchased online to save time on the day. Itinerary

The Sip & Savour Wine Tour is focused on tantalising the taste buds, with food pairings to compliment your Waiheke Island wine tasting experience, followed by a shared platter style lunch among the vines. Come and indulge in everything Waiheke as you Sip & Savour your way across the island. On arrival to Waiheke Island one of our representatives will be waiting on the wharf to welcome you to our beautiful island. Look out for “The Wine Tasting Company” sign board. (If you are staying on Waiheke, contact us for pick up times) Our tour starts off with a scenic drive as you soak up the sights of our magical island, from galleries, shops, restaurants, vines and golden sand beaches. Your local tour guide will share stories about Waiheke, our discovery of wine and olives, our celebrities “world famous on Waiheke” of course and our little visitors (Godwits) who have chosen Waiheke as part of their international stop over. You will enjoy some food pairing wine tastings, followed by a shared platter style lunch + glass of wine. Waiheke Island is only a 45min ferry ride from Auckland, making this tour an ideal option for day trippers, with a tour duration of approx.. 5.5 hours.

Lovely day exploring the island and its wines, highly recommended

I organised for six of us to go on the trip - so the team at The Wine Tasting Company thoughtfully gave us a minibus to oursleves fo rthe day. Visited four lovely wineries on a summy but blustery day and thoroughly enjoyed all four (although a special mention for Casita Miro which was outstanding). Saw more than just the wines - got a flavour of the island too which was lovely. Guide was brilliant and when one of us mentioned they were interested in olive oil, she added an extra stop at an olive tree orchard. Recommneded!

Fantastic way to see some highlights on waiheke island! The wineries we went to has fantastic wine, great scenery, or both! Margo was a fantastic tour guide and helped ensure everyone had a great time! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Auckland!

Fun wine tasting and tour of Waiheke

Small bespoke tour ( 10 people) with fun facts from our cheerful guide Lydia ( known as Heidi by some of the vineyards) visited 4 vineyard and had a lovely platter. Especially enjoyed the Casita Miro venue which was arty and like nothing we have in Europe, not to mention their rose and fortified wine which is excellent. Also loved MudBrick and StoneyRidge. Strongly recommend!!!

This tour really exceeded our expectations! We want to move to Waiheke now!! Our guide Nydia was terrific. All 4 wineries she took us to were beautiful and had delicious wines. The hosts at each winery were very informative! So glad we chose this tour.
