Overview

Hi everybody, the 90% of the tourists wants to see Pisa and Florence that are amazing but this tour is something different, a bit more off the beaten track (especially Volterra) and it's a delight to discover the hearth of Tuscany with these two villages. Try this experience and you won't regret it. We move with a Mercedes Van and you will have a driver/guide that will explain during the day what we see together.

Itinerary

  • Anfiteatro Romano

    The Roman Amphytheater is an attraction, a piece of roman history where still today the local government arranges music concerts and shows, especially in summer. We will have a quick view from the panoramic spot ideal for take a photo.

  • Rossi Alabastri Volterra

    A visit in the oldest company of Alabaster production, they have also a lab where they do a free demonstration of craftsmanship.

  • Piazza dei Priori

    The main square in Volterra where is the Priory Palace and the tower framed in the movie Twilight. In the opposite side you have the Cathedral. From here you can start your visit in the historic part of the village.

  • Tuscany

    Called wrongly from the foreigners Tuscany (in italian Toscana) we drive across the Chianti countryside (this is the real name! Tuscany is not only that part but the entire region) land of wine, olive oil and good food...and, if you like, we can arrange a lunch with wine tasting, or a wine tasting without lunch. Food and drinks are not included in the price of the tours.

Great way to spend the day in Tuscany!!

We have a wonderful day with Guilanno exploring Sienna and having lunch and the wine tour at the organic farm,. The kids loved the animals!! Thank you!

Great day in Tuscany

We had a fun day exploring Tuscany with our private driver Guliano, and experiencing the best of the countryside. We were given the chance to have lunch at a beautiful family farm near San Gimignano, which was the highlight of the trip. We especially enjoyed Volterra, as it is much less touristy than much of Tuscany. Guliano has a lovely car and speaks very good English, and was very proud to show off his home.

Giuliano was fantastic! We had fun in the van between stops learning more about the towns and Italian culture. He is such a positive, warm guide. Our hosts for wine-tasting/ lunch were wonderful and enriched our day.

Wonderful Tour of Chianti

We could not have asked for a better day with Gio. It was a perfect way to spend time as a family. Gio took me my wife and our three older boys (all in their 20s) to several towns outside of Florence culminating in a visit to San Gimignano. He is an excellent guide and companion as we navigated the beautiful Chianti region. We all felt very much at ease with Gio and he provided a fun, relaxing, and educational experience for us all. I would recommend him to any and all travelers wanting an enjoyable day trip out of Florence.
