Our private tour consisting of 6 adult family members could not have been more exceptional. Yes, weather conditions were poor… rain, but the vibrant smile and truly exuberant personality of our tour driver, Camila, set the tone for a wonderful day. The small winery was incredible and we recognized that with substantial purchases of their delicious products. San Gimignano was wet but oozing with history and provided memories that will last forever. While the final winery was less personal, the lunch meal was exciting and provided the basis for a needed nap on the ride back to Florence. I highly recommend this tour and can only hope all are able to have Camila has your guide.

A great day in Tuscany. Valerio picked us up at the cruise port and took us through the Tuscan countryside to a small family winery, Il Colombaio, and larger facility, Tenuta Torciano. Valerio was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He hails from Livorno so knew the area very well. We enjoyed our tasting at Colombaio and were so impressed with the quality of wines and balsamic, that several of us ordered products to ship home. Tenuta was a larger facility where we enjoyed a Tuscan lunch and wine pairing. We thoroughly enjoyed the brief visit to San Gimignano and indulged in the famous gelato at Gelateria Dondoli!

Amazing wines! So interesting and informative! Beautiful wineries! The lunch served was beyond fantastic! Highly recommend this excursion! Coming from California, and having access to great wines, we were absolutely blown away by the great wines we had the chance to taste!

This was such a great experience to see the vineyards and taste the wine of Chianti. We absolutely love love loved our driver and tour guide who made our day completely amazing and special. Thank you to you, Camilla!!! She answered all of our questions about living here as a local, what her life is like, about Italian culture and language, and of course about the wineries and wines. She even helped us book a taxi for our next day transportation. She was FABULOUS!!!! The vineyard and winery we visited were very nice. The food was great, and the wine was better!! Visiting San Gimignano was also really cool to see and definitely worth the stop.

We highly recommend this. These two wineries and food parings were perfect. Educational, tasty food and delicious wines. We live near wine country in California, and this beats the wine touring we have done there. We suggest taking this opportunity on your trip to Tuscany.
