Wonderful experience

This was one of the highlights of our holiday. Oreste really brought Catania to life, and was very clear in explaining the history to us. We would wholeheartedly recommend this tour. We wish we had done it earlier in our holiday to fully understand the city and what was beneath our feet.

This was a terrific tour - both under as well as above ground. Catania is a place where much of its history (due to earthquakes and volcanic eruption) lies beneath street level. Matilde is a delightful guide, sharing her love of the past with a view to the present. She showed us places we would have never found or even thought to seek out. Plus an entertaining commentary on present-day Catania made for an enjoyable and informative morning. Be sure to include it on your Sicily itinerary.

This was a great tour. Matilde was very knowledgable and told us lots of interesting information about the history of Catania and its landmarks. The underground areas were amazing and very interesting. I recommend this tour.
