    We will depart from Madrid, towards Consuegra, there, we will reach Cerro Calderico, where we will find the Molinos Mágicos of Miguel de Cervantes, a set of 12 whitewashed mills, built in the 19th century. 12 mills that cross the sky line of Cerro Calérico. Sancho, Rucio, Espartero, etc. Itinerary 10:00 to 11:30 Madrid to Consuegra 11:30 to 11:45 "Baños" Cafe 12:00 to 14:00 Touring the Don Quixote Mills of La Mancha and we will explain their stories and literary accounts of each of the mills.

Fantastic Tour of the Windmills of La Mancha and Toledo

The whole experience was wonderful. The drive out and back in a Mercedes van was comfortable and our guide was a good, safe driver. A translator app was used to provide information in English during the journey and we enjoyed learning about the history of the windmills as well as some interesting anecdotes about Don Quixote’s story surrounding them. Upon arrival in Toledo, we were taken to a great viewing location to photograph the St Martin’s Bridge over the river Tagus and given some history. Lunch in Toledo was delicious (along with tasty wine) and we had more food than we could manage to eat! We wandered through some of the old streets and visited the beautiful cathedral (a must see!). Highly recommend this tour!

Amazing must do experience!

This tour was amazing but most amazing was the tour guide, Alex. It was a hit day and my mom uses a small wheelchair. This tour is not really meant for disabled travelers and my mother can get up and walk stairs when she needs to, but Alex was incredible. He drove us to the top by the windmills and then guided the rest of the group, which was perfect! The lunch was excellent and a nice spot to rest. We were also able to do some shopping on the town. The remaining part of the tour had incredible views! Alex helped me with my mom and the entire group we traveled with were so kind! Amazing 10/10 experience.
