Overview

The Tour start with the visit of the vineyards Then Tasting of three of Villa La Ripa's wines in combination with a selected goat cheese, a quality Parmesan cheese and of Tuscan bread with our award-winning extra virgin olive oil. At the end Tour of the cellar during which the history of the company and the current production line are explained.

Meeting points

The gate opens slowly onto the avenue of cypresses. Above you will see the splendid Renaissance villa. After about 100 meters you will see a sign on the left: "winery Reception". Turn left and you will arrive at the cellar where your tour will begin with a glass of wine

End point

This activity ends back at the meeting point.

The experience begins with a visit to the winery, then explanation and walk in the vineyards of the company (weather permitting) Tasting of 4 wines from Villa La Ripa paired with a platter of local cured meats and cheeses of quality and Tuscan bread with our award-winning extra virgin olive oil of which the production process is illustrated and tasted carefully to appreciate the organoleptic profile.

We were attending a cooking school nearby -Tuscookany-in Abruzzo, and the tour and light fare at the vineyard was exceptional, as was the time spent with the Dr owner/,winemaker. This is a gem among gems-so good that we ordered a case of his best syrah-syrah. Which arrived in time for Thanksgiving- In a phrase-simply fabulous Ron Tucson

I came here 12 years ago when I was here for the Tuscookany cooking school nearby and it was a highlight of our week! I loved the wine and especially the owner who gave us an amazing tour of this historic property that has been lovingly restored. I was very excited to return again and get to share this experience with my husband who is now equally in love with everything that is happening here ❤️ Don’t miss this! Possibly the best wine in Tuscany!

From the moment the owner greeted our group of 10, we were enthralled by his story and tour of the estate he bought and has been restoring. This was capped off by a lovely wine tasting of the wines they are producing, which were lovely. The fact that he is a neurologist doing this as a hobby made it even more special.

Loved the story about the origin of the vineyard and the lessons in tasting wines. Lovely scenery and we even had the possibility to taste some fresh Shiraz grapes!

We had the most amazing tour of Villa la Ripa with Claudia! I left having tried the most amazing wines and learning about the rich history of the Villa. I highly recommend a trip to Villa la Ripa for anyone in the area!
