The Beatles Tour will introduce you to the first steps of the Fab Four's career, which they spent jamming and having fun in the city of Hamburg. john Lennon famously said: "I was born in Liverpool, but I grew up in Hamburg" - and indeed, if not for Hamburg, we'd have probably never heard about the Beatles. In the early 1960s, Hamburg was recovering from the war and transforming itself into Germany's capital of entertainment, vice, and music - and The Beatles came there to learn, gain experience, and have some fun. The Reeperbahn, Hamburg's 'most sinful mile', has become a stage for many aspiring musicians, including The Beatles. Legendary venues, such as the Star Club, Kaiserkeller, or Indra, have later hosted numerous other giants of rock music, and the vibe of rock-n-roll and freedom is still there today. On this tour, we are going to visit the places The Beatles played, slept, drank, and got in trouble.

We are TRUE Beatles lovers and Ian filled in all the missing blanks in our knowledge of Beatles history. We were traveling with another couple from the USA and one couple from Toronto, Canada. He was prompt; met us at our hotel; helped us ride the local train; recognized when we needed a break; shared his passion for the Beatles with us; and returned us to our hotel. We felt VERY safe with Ian even though we were out after-dark. He also took lots of photos for us. Thanks, Ian, for some great memories!

We were one couple from Germany and one from Australia and had an amazing time at the Beatles tour. We looked for a tour in English. The guide was great and told us lots of intesting things about the Beatles in Hamburg, We visited all the intresting places and were abele to take many photos.
