Overview

Your experience begins with a stroll through the Plaza de las Tres Culturas. Visit the church of Santiago de Tlatelolco, contemplate the ruins of a pre-Hispanic city, and see the monument in honor of the student movement of 1968. Continue your experience at the Guadalupe Basilica complex and climb the sacred hill of Tepeyac, the place where the Virgin Mary appeared to the Indian Juan Diego. Head to the Chapel of the Roses and enjoy a sweeping view of Mexico City. During your visit to the religious complex, admire the Chapel of the Indians, the Chapel of the Pocito, and the modern basilica, the place where the sacred blanket of Juan Diego is kept. To finish off your experience, head to the State of Mexico and discover the archaeological complex of Teotihuacan. Explore the archaeological zone and learn about the important history of this significant pre-Hispanic city. make sure to bring a hat while seeing the pyramids at Teotihuacan! It was gorgeous and magical but very hot and sunny, even in December.

Carlos was a wonderful your guide and my family of 7 had an amazing time. We loved hearing about the obsidian, seeing the pyramids and the Last of Guadalupe. I highly recommend this day trip.

This tour was wonderful! Besides Teotihuacan being an amazing experience, the trip included a tour of a local artisan group that makes obsidian pieces and silver jewelry, plus tequila and mezcal with agave plants grown on site. We got to taste several agave based drinks that are produced throughout the harvest and fermentation process. They had a huge shop that I bought several beautiful pieces of high quality silver jewelry at. We paid for the included lunch which was delicious. Our tour guide and driver were both lovely and very knowledgeable. Exceptional value for your money, highly recommend!

Great experience, Rosa Maria our guide was super friendly and knowledge. The food was ok, but you could also order other stuff from the menu. Great value for the price.
