Overview

Do you want to go for a hike but don't know which trail to pick, and don't want to get lost in the forest? We make things easy for you by taking you to a beautiful trail that wouldn't be easy to find on your own, and we'll make sure you have a stress-free time, enjoying the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. We'll hike for 1.5-2 hours in the Rocky Mountains while the sun sets. We'll see pretty views, probably see some wildlife, take a few snack and water breaks, learn about the wildflowers and trees, make new friends, get some exercise and breathe in the fresh mountain air! In the winter months, we'll provide "Yak Traks" that you put on your shoes to improve the traction on ice and snow. The hike will be easy to easy for people in good physical shape, but it can be very challenging for people who do not exercise regularly and are not used to altitude. The elevation will be somewhere between 6,000 and 8,000 ft. Min group size is 2 hikers.

Itinerary

    We will meet at Launch cafe and carpool to a hiking trail 30 minutes away. Feel free to arrive early to enjoy their delicious coffee, drinks and food.

  • Dinosaur Ridge (Pass By)

    Pass by an area called Dinosaur Ridge where dinosaur fossils have been found.

  • Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre (Pass By)

    We will pass by the entrance of Red Rocks Amphitheater and you can see it in the distance.

  • Morrison (Pass By)

    Pass through the town of Morrison. Hikers can go to dinner here after the hike if you have your own transportation.

  • Rocky Mountains

    We'll drive through the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and go deeper into the Rocky Mountains for the sunset hike. Please note this is the Rocky Mountains but not Rocky Mountain National Park (which is in Estes Park). We'll hike for 1.5-2 hours in the Rocky mountains while the sun sets. Amazing view

If you like the pictures imagine what it looks like in person. Mike was our guide and gave us the best experience ever. I recommend this hike to anyone wanting to see a an amazing view of the mountains. Can’t forget about the juniper smell.

Brian was great! He knew the route and history and facts about it all. The hike was easy for the most part with one or two sections with some uphill that were a little tougher especially with the altitude. Would definitely do this again!
