Overview

Do you want to go for a hike but don't know which trail to pick, and don't want to get lost in the forest? We make things easy for you by taking you to a beautiful trail and making sure you have a stress-free time, enjoying the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains.

Meeting points

We meet at Huckleberry Roasters in Denver and carpool from there to the trailhead. We encourage hikers to provide their own transportation, but we are able to drive you if you don't have a vehicle. We recommend arriving 30 mins early to try the delicious coffee and breakfast burritos at Huckleberry!

Itinerary

We will carpool to a hiking trail within an hour drive from Denver, and we'll hike for 2-4 hours in the Rocky mountains. We'll get some sunshine, see pretty views, maybe see some wildlife, take a few snack and water breaks, learn about the wildflowers and trees, make new friends, get some exercise and breathe in the fresh mountain air! In the winter months, we'll provide "Yak Traks" that you put on your shoes to improve the traction on ice and snow. Depending on the length of the hike, we can pick up sandwiches on the way and eat lunch on the trail, or we can get lunch together after the hike, or you can do your own thing for lunch after the hike. The hike will be easy to moderate for people in good physical shape, but it can be very challenging for people who do not exercise regularly and are not used to altitude. The hike will take place in the Rocky Mountains west of Denver, NOT in Rocky Mountain National Park. The elevation will be somewhere between 6,000 and 12,000 ft. Minimum group size is 2 hikers. Amazing hike with friends

We had a GREAT experience with Brian. Brian was very knowledgeable, funny and charismatic the whole hike. He was also very relatable and a very down to earth person to talk to. I would highly recommend this hike!

Perfect fit for me

Brian listened to my request and time limitation. He took the various trail options available, filtered out the ones with bad weather that day, and took me on a trip of just the right length and level of challenge and with wonderful viewpoints. Brian was very attuned to the needs and preferences of the traveler and will find you the right fit.

Perfect Half Day Hike

Brian was our guide and was great. This was a great option for us as we didn't rent a car in Denver so we just used uber to meet at the coffee house. Brian gave us a ride, provided us spikes and gloves/hat, and great conversation as he guided us through the rockies and made sure we were comfortable with the hike and our experience. Would very much recommend Brian and this hike again!

Rocky Mountain Hiking

One of the best parts of this hike was the guide, Brian. He made the hike enjoyable and was very personable. He was also very knowledgeable. He was accomendating to me as I came from a lower elevation State and recommended the proper hike. The trail that I was taken to showed me a little bit of everything. It had a view of the city, a few historic buildings, and the mountain range.
