Stone town ( Old Town ) also known as Mji Mkongwe in a swahili language. Is the old part of Zanzibar City, the main and capital city of Zanzibar. That contains a huge history since the original Local people of Zanzibar, Persians, Portuguese then Sultanate of Oman. The newer portion of the city is known as Ng'ambo, Swahili for 'the other side'. Here you get full information about the History of Zanzibar, the slave trade in East Africa, and Old Stone Town. Also, you can see historical attractions and heritages that are available in a stone town like the House of Wonders, Old Fort, Freddy Mercury Museum , Forodhani Garden, Jaws Corner, Darajani Market, Anglican and Catholic church, and former slave market site.
