we had a great time. it was a very small group, just the two of us. andre was a great guide. the bus ride was fun. snorkeling was also fun, we went to two different spots and we were able to stop at a beach as well. we saw a whale in the distance and tried to get closer to it in the boat but it went back under the surface. i highly recommend this activity!

This trip was so fun and incredible for the low price! We took the public bus to Boca de Tomatlán and then took a private boat to two different snorkeling spots. We saw so many different types of fish and the highlight was three humpback whales!!! The driver of the boat stopped and let us watch the whales for a very long time - it was an incredible experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and told us all about the different fish, wildlife, and beaches. We ended with some food, drinks and then took the bus back into Vallarta. Highly recommend for a day trip!

Andre was a great guide. This was a last minute decision and so happy we decided to go. We took a city bus to the boat but that added to the immersion into the true city life and allowed us to see more of the jungle and ocean. Don't let the idea of taking a local bus dissuade you from going. A great experience. Once we got on the boat Andre took us to some awesome private snorkeling spots where we saw plenty of colorful fish. On our way back he allowed us to stop at one of the beach villages for some drinks and snacks. I would definitely recommend over one of the larger boats with too many people. We only had our group of 4 which made the experience even better not waiting for 50 people to figure how to snorkel.

We booked this excursion last minute and we are so glad we did! Ilan was our tour guide and he was super kind and knowledgeable! He took us to 3 different spots to snorkel and even took pictures of us during the excursion that he sent to us at the end of the trip. It was a super enjoyable experience and I highly recommend it!

This is our second experience with Elian and just like the first one, it was absolutely amazing! Elian provided us a super fun personalized experience while also learning so much about the history of Puerto Vallarta and everything the city had to offer. The amount of fishes we saw while snorkeling was insane! So many kinds of colorful fish swimming so close to us. Elian also took some amazing pictures and videos on his GoPro. Will always keep Elian and Vallarta Local Experience as our go to for outdoor experiences in Puerto Vallarta. You will not regret booking any of the experiences offered!
