A memorable introduction

Ben is a friendly, respectful guide with a great sense of humour and a clear love of Roman history and culture. It was such a joy learning so much about the city's intimate and complicated relationship with its Jewish community as well as some eye-opening insights about a few key historical figures who have played a role in its story - popes, emperors, and dictators, etc. A memorable introduction to a rare jewel of the eternal city. Thank you again!

Tour of the Ghetto and travestere

Alicia was charming, informative and friendly. The tour was interesting and sensitive to the Jewish people. Travestere was also fun - enjoyed exploring the alleyways. Good advice on where to eat and buy gelato!

This was a terrific tour. We were lucky to have alethea to ourselves and she gave us a informative and fascinating historical tour of the Jewish ghetto both on both sides of the river. She told fascinating stories about the history of the Jewish people in Rome from Roman times all the way up to almost present day. We visited historical sites including the Magnificent Temple located just outside the Jewish quarter. I would absolutely recommend this tour and our guide.
