    Being the burial place of St Peter Rome, the Vatican has always been considered a holy city – a second Jerusalem, but besides that its museum is a chest of countless masterpieces: the astonishing gallery of statues, the fascinating gallery of maps, the gallery of tapestries and the Raphaels rooms. During your visit to the Vatican Museums you will have the opportunity to learn about the great artists who helped embellish one of the most fascinating sovereign states in the world.

  • Sistine Chapel

    Than prepare yourselves for a Stendhal syndrome effect as you enter the Sistine chapel and lift your head up to the the most-probably most-famous and most-admired ceiling in the world and immerse yourselves into the “last judgment”, the seemingly never-ending fresco magnificently adorned by Michelangelo’s life-like, potent figures of Adam, God and Saints, and try to spot the artist’s self portrait on the torso of Saint Peter! Here the conclaves of cardinals have come together periodically, throughout the centuries, to elect a new pope, and Pope John Paul II called it the “Holy Spirit’s place of action”.

  • Starting in 2025, there will no longer be a guided tour only of St. Peter's Basilica, but entry will still be included in the ticket price

Our tour guide, Kate, was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. She gave a lot of details, while still keeping us moving. If you want to get in and out of the Vatican in a few hours and see the highlights I would highly recommend this tour. However, if you really want to see as much of the Vatican museum as possible, you may want to consider a different tour as you skip a lot. But most people don’t want to spend 8 hours in a museum. Given a 3-hour time slot, Kate covered all the right things.

Went with 3 friends on this amazing tour. Everything went very smoothly, from meeting in the exact place described to the extremely friendly and knowledgeable tour guide ( try and get Milica if you can - she was really good). Milica explained that there was no way we could see everything in one afternoon but that she would do her best to give us as much information as she could. It's very, very busy all throughout, and inevitably, it felt a little rushed. The tour lasted just under 4 hours, and afterwards, we were free to explore on our own. To skip the main queue was worth the price alone! Highly recommended!
