Overview

Verona is as timeless and romantic as the story of Romeo and Juliet, which takes place in its cobbled streets. On this self guided audio tour, you'll discover that there is more to the city than a tale of tragic love. We’ll leave the busy shopping streets and travel back in time, along the oldest Roman road in northern Italy. More than 2,000 years of history are reflected in the facades of its Roman and Medieval buildings, and there’s a mix of pragmatism and invention in the way old has been recycled into new. Both Off & On The Beaten Path At Your Own Pace

The detail provided at each stop, the ability to go at your own pace, and the fact that the tour guide is a Veronese native all added to this experience. She provided history, cultural details, architecture specifics, details of the food and wine of the region as well as specific food and wine to try. She took us off the beaten bath as well as to all the main sights. Cannot recommend this tour enough — we loved it!

Excellent tour, easy to follow and use, just right for this size city. Much better than a guided tour for a city this crowded.Make sure you know how to use your ear buds, they gave me fits.
