Very informative tour, we learned a lot about the history of Crete and Chania, visited a beautiful monastery, had a lovely time at the winery tasting wines and sampling delicious home cooked dishes, and had an extensive tour of Chania. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, great experience overall.

A wonderful private tour for cruise ship passengers

We are passengers from Sun Princess and It was a pleasure to have Helen as our tour guide and made our Chania port stay a memorable one. She showed us the beautiful Chania old town and navigate the narrow paths with great photo spots. In the beach stop, she lent us a beach umbrella which is a life saver as all the umbrellas with beach chairs were all rent out by 2 pm. We manage to rent a beach chair and use her umbrella to survive the heat in the afternoon. The beach stop although was shorter than we would like, but the water is very nice and we had a Lovely swim. The restaurant she recommended was very good with delicious food and priced reasonably. We highly recommend to any cruise passengers to book this private tour if they want to see a lot in a couple of hours.

Our tour guide Helen was a very pleasant hostess, very eager to share her knowledge with us about Crete history, culture, culinary highlights, and to accommodate our needs. This was a private tour and Helen made it convenient to make the tour inclusive for all ages from a child of 4 years to two elderly persons. Helen answered all questions posed to her. When she didn’t know, she researched the question and provided replies. We explored Chania town, saw the impact of several cultures and religions, visited the Greek Orthodox Monastery and loved the charm and ambience of Marathi Beach.

We had an unforgettable experience on this tour! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and pleasant. She met us right from the cruise ship, drove us around, and shared so many interesting facts. Thanks to this company, we were able to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of Crete, learn fascinating details, see beautiful sights, and take hundreds of amazing photos in a short amount of time. This was one of the best tours I have ever been on!
