Most options start and finish at Port Chalmers (return transfers from Port to Dunedin centre included) Make the most of your time at Dunedin with one of these customizable Dunedin shore excursions. Get your bearings at your own pace with a Hop-on, Hop-off bus tour, or choose between outings to Larnach Castle and Gardens and the magnificent Taieri Gorge Railway. If desired, the shore excursions can be combined with some of Dunedin’s top sites, including Speight’s Brewery, City Walk or the Olveston Historic Home. All shore excursions include pickup and drop-off at Port Chalmers. Our times work in with all arrivals to Port Chalmers and we ask passengers to meet at the Private Tours Sign on the Port Chalmers wharf no less than 15 minutes prior to your departure time. Departure times may also vary for each Ship but we are fully conversant of these restraints and will always have you back in plenty of time. We haven't lost anyone yet! Your driver-guide will give you directions and confirm pickup times. General departure from Port Chalmers is 8.45am, returning by 3.45pm. Larnach Castle & Gardens

Larnach Castle (if chosen) Scenic Route to the Castle includes a photostop. Once at the Castle your guide will take you on a journey back in time retracing the establishment of the Castle and the incredibly turbulent life and times of William Larnach. Watch out for the ghosts....! Approximately 45 minutes of you own time follows which allows you to explore further the Castle including the spectacular gardens or maybe adjourn to the Ball Room for a high tea and scones! Or coffee! Map and information is made available at Larnach Castle, and translated into some languages - please check with your driver.
