    This viewpoint allows you to contemplate the beauty of Lagoa das Sete Cidades and all its surroundings, and also allows you to admire part of the north coast of the island of SĂŁo Miguel. Before this, we will stop at Pico da Cruz, a geological feature that has its highest point at 845 meters above sea level and is part of the Massif of Sete Cidades.

    Sete Cidades is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Ponta Delgada, Autonomous Region of the Azores, with an area of ​​19.22 km² and 701 inhabitants. Here we will do a stop to see the lakes.

Outstanding Offroad Tour and Guide

This was a fantastic private tour in a 4x4 pickup. Guide was local and very knowledgeable. Safe driver. Took us to the best locations for viewing and photographs. Time well spent with memories to cherish. We booked this tour instead of a cruise tour and did not regret it. Thanks Felipe!!

This tour is an amazing experience for us and words cannot describe how wonderful our tour guide Sergio is. I was hesitant at first to book a private tour as we are only here for 2 days on this island. However, I decided to book a half-day tour which turned out one of the best decisions I made along this trip to Portugal. Sergio, according to him, was born and raised on St Miguel and I feel that he has a very deep connection with his hometown. Also, he has profound knowledge about the plants, history, industry etc about this beautiful place which is fantastic to someone like me who knew very little if not nothing about Azores before I arrived. Although the weather was a bit disappointing with cloud and fog, thanks to Sergio’s guide we managed to see what we wanted to see, the lakes, mountains, beaches and small church and beautiful villages. A very important thing to note that he drives very smooth. If you have motion sickness, you can still enjoy the trip. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting St Miguel for a very limited period of time.

We had a wonderful tour and the truck was able to take us to different locations that we otherwise would have not been able to. My parents are older and they enjoyed the comfort of the truck. My son is 8 and he had just as much fun.
