The PADI Discover Scuba Diving is your first experience underwater! Blue Fin Divers is a PADI 5 star IDC Resort. Since our opening, in 2006, we have taken pride in sharing with divers our passion: scuba diving! During your Discover Scuba Diving program you will dive directly in the sea in pool like conditions (great visibility, lack of currents and wave)! Our reef is the perfect dive site to start diving as it is interesting and easy! Mediteranean fishes, octopus and turtules are often spotted. Our team of multilingual PADI professionals would be happy to guide you for your first experience underwater!

Itinerary

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving is a program for beginner and non-certified divers. It is your first experience underwater! The Discover Scuba Diving takes about 2 hours: It begins with a 35-minute briefing conducted by a PADI-certified professional. You will learn the basics of scuba diving and everything you need to know before your first underwater breath. We then suit up and dive on our reef, right in front of our shop. Once in the water we will practice breathing at the surface and do some easy skills in shallow water. We will then go on a 45 minutes dive led by your instructor, up to 7 meters on our house. Blue Fin Divers's house reef is located by the beach of Agios Prokopios, one of the most beautiful in Greece. It is a calm, easy, and fun environment to scuba dive with clear visibility and no currents. It is the perfect place to discover the underwater world On our rocky reef, we can see a multitude of Mediterranean fish, colorful sponges, octopus, barracuda, and even sometimes sea turtles. All the scuba diving equipment and underwater pictures are included in the price

As our first time scuba diving, this experience was amazing. Tina explained everything so well and was so kind to calm us down when we needed help regulate our breathing. They guided us down underwater and were amazing at every step. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking about trying it out, you will love it. We were blessed to be a group of three and had Tina, Alex, and Ana stay by each of our sides.

The Marianna Wreck is an outstanding experience and I can wholeheartedly recommend doing it with the super professional but approachable Panos and his lovely international team. I booked last minute but no drama whatsoever. Diving kit was very good, including digital air pressure gauge and additional computer rental for just €5. They also lent us torches during the dive to make the most of exploring the wreck via its portholes and machinery area. It is a very safe dive site accessing various deck areas of the ship without penetrating inside the hull. And it is all at no great depth so viz and bottom time are optimal. It was great to receive video and photos by email the same evening as a lasting memory of the dive.

It was my second scuba experience and I really enjoyed it. After a short briefing and explanations to refresh the guidelines, we went to a calm spot for the dive. The staff was very professional and friendly. Had a lot of fun exploring the seabed with the guide pointing at fishes, anemones and small crustaceans. Thank you to the Blue Fin Divers team for the great time! Mil gracias a Luna!

The team were truly amazing and we had such fun. I went with my two daughters, one of whom, took it to it straight away. While the other was somewhat cautious. Panos, ( I hope that was his name) was so patient and made sure we managed to dive. I would definitely recommend and do it again if back in Naxos!
