Overview

Our Highland Freedom bike tour is the ideal day out for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts who really want to get out into nature and be at one with some of Scotland’s most spectacular scenery. Your friendly and experienced bike guide will take you along the route of a disused railway, through the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. An area known for its mountains, lochs and ancient forest. Its hard not to be inspired by some of the most stunning Highland landscapes in the country. No wonder this is considered to be one of the most scenic cycle routes in Scotland. Tour includes an optional short hike to a spectacular viewpoint. Transfers from Edinburgh accommodation are included in cost of tour. Pick up between 08:00 and 08:30. Bring card or cash for lunch stop at an award winning cafe/bar.

Travelers are picked up between 8:00am and 8:30am on the morning of their tour. A precise pick up time will be given on confirmation of booking. Uplift and return can be arranged from most addresses within Edinburgh including hotels, B&B's, self service accommodation, transport hubs, private homes and popular meeting points.     Cycle through the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park

    We take a brief refreshment stop on route to our destination at this iconic castle, which has been used as a backdrop to popular films and TV series.

  • Balquhidder Church Ruins

    The peace and tranquility of Balquhidder Glen, which is also the resting place of Rob Roy. We take an option 30 minute walk to a popular view point for fantastic views across Loch Voil and mountains beyond.

    40 minutes

  • Stirling Castle (Pass By)

    Views of one of Scotland's best known castles.

Awesome ebike trip through Trossachs!

Johann was such a great guide; knowledgeable, professional, super friendly with a great sense of humor. The tour started with a visit to Linlithgow Palace which was breathtaking. Johann shared a funny story about the dog statue in town; ask him about it. We began riding in the rain which was actually pretty invigorating, but it only lasted about 5 minutes after which the sun came out making it an absolutely gorgeous day. We rode through Trossachs National Park which is stunning. We stopped for several photo ops and ended going to Doune Castle which seemingly is hidden behind a typical neighborhood. Additionally, the bikes were a dream to operate. A trip to remember!

Johann was an excellent guide. He's so knowledgeable about the area and history. He brought us to two castles, an old church, through the Trossachs National Park and he included stops for amazing photo opportunities. The trip on the ebike started out with a little rain, but what an amazing way to experience Scotland! After about 5 min, the sun came out which dried everything and made for a glorious day. If we could take this ebike trip again, my husband and I would do it in a heartbeat. The bikes were also a dream to operate.
