Overview

The tour begins when the schooner leaves the Salvador Nautical Terminal towards Ilha dos Frades. A contemplative walk inside the BaĂ­a de Todos os Santos, at the exit we have the SĂŁo Marcelo Fort, the city of Salvador seen from the sea, the Itapagipe peninsula which houses the Monte Serrat Fort, the Bonfim Church and other attractions. We head towards Ilha dos Frades where calm, crystal clear waters invite us for a swim, as well as a snack and a cold drink, we stay for around 5 hours. Just relax on the sands and warm waters of the island of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe. Climb the stairs and visit the chapel whose patron saint is the same saint and has an incredible view. At 3pm our guide will call you for boarding. On the way back, you can enjoy the sunset at BaĂ­a de Todos os Santos. Time Salvador - Island - 1:40. Note: The Tour can only be purchased up to 12 hours before departure. DOES NOT INCLUDE : Salvador terminal boarding tax; Entrance fee Ilha dos Frades; Lunch, drinks and snacks.

An amazing cruise near spectacular Salvador!

Wow! I rarely write reviews, but must rave about this incredible cruise to two amazing islands near Salvador Brazil: IslĂŁ dos frades and Itaparica. The boat is lovely, staffed by a smiling, courteous team who make amazing drinks with fresh fruit while playing Brazilian music on drums and tamborine. IslĂŁ dos frades has crystalline water and Itaparica is a lovely place to stop for lunch and enjoy local history. The tour agency was great, and have us all the information we needed, along with a reminder about check-in the night before. Our kids loved the entire day as much as we did. We would highly highly recommend this cruise to anyone looking for an amazing day in Brazil.
