  • Odori Park (Pass By)

    Pass by Odori Park, located in the central district of Sapporo Odori Park is an oasis in an office district surrounded by 92 species of lilacs, haru elms, and other 4,700 trees. Visitors and residents alike enjoy relaxing on the lawn and around the fountain. Odori Park is actually a road, although it is called a park. 1871 (Meiji 4), a firebreak line dividing the center of Sapporo from north to south was built, which became a road called Goshidori, and the name was changed to Odori. Normally a place of relaxation and recreation, it is also the site of some of Hokkaido's most famous events. Stretching from east to west, Odori Park is divided into 12 blocks from 1-chome to 12-chome, each block separated by a pedestrian crossing. The distance from one end of Odori Park to the other is about 1.5 km, and it takes about 30 minutes to walk.

A taste of Sapporo at night

Great way to experience Sapporo at night. We tasted a lot of new food and beverages. Took a little stroll from shop to shop and learned some things about Sapporo/Japan. Midori was very nice, accomodating and knowledgeable. Loved the little parting gift too.

Great way to see Sapporo at night

Green, Midori, thank you so much for a fun night around Sapporo. Midori took us to a number of cool little places, for a bite to eat and a few drinks. Any questions we had about Sapporo and Japan she was happy to help us with. Highly recommend this tour!

A great personal experience

The tour involved a small group and our tour guide Midori (Green) was very nice and very helpful in teaching us about the food and drinks. Having a small group means it's more personal and you are able to communicate with everyone in the group. Midori took full advantage of this and was very involved with learning about us as well as telling us about herself over the course of our drinks. Me and my wife loved how much Midori seemed to love what she is doing as well as the small gift she gave us at the end made it very personal. Our tour involved going to three different places and we had more than enough to drink and eat during the course of this entire tour. You will not need to buy any extra unless you are a really big eater.

Green was so much fun on the tour! She really made sure we went to restaurants that we would enjoy, and had us laughing and talking the entire time. Everything was super close, so it was easy to get to the next place. But each restaurant was different from the last.
