You can learn about Washoku from Yuki who is an experienced decorative sushi roll instructor. She has appeared on TV many times because she is popular. We welcome international guests to our Sushi Roll Preparation School in Sapporo. At our hands-on workshop you will learn how to cook decorative sushi rolls. When you return to your home country why not impress your friends? We promise that your visit to our workshop will be one of the best memories of your trip to Japan.

This is about Yuki's class... At our hands-on workshop you will learn how to cook decorative sushi rolls. You can take away your sushi rolls after the class. You will get English instruction and ingredients, apron rental free, free pick-up service at Makomanai subway station ( if required ), and recipes in English in your class. If you have any special dietary concerns ( food allergies, Vegan and Vegetarian etc.) please inform us in advance. If you would like to discover Japanese cuisine much more, add exciting options below. You will learn how to decorate Bento ( lunch box ) in a traditional Syokado style. And enjoy your own Bento after the class. --- Options --- â—Ź Hokkaido branded beef ( Biratori Wagyu, Shiraoi Gyu, etc.) â—Ź Rice ball and steam rice â—Ź 3 other dishes and miso soup â—Ź 2 other dishes and miso soup â—Ź 1 other dish and miso soup - Miso soup ~ at first how to make Dashi ( soup stock ) and then to make soup with homemade miso. - Steam rice( if required ) ~ how to prepare steam rice without using a rice cooker.

Awesome Sapporo experience!

Yuki-san is such a great host and an amazing teacher! She picked us up from the train station and took us to her lovely home. Before class, she served us some delicious tea as we introduced ourselves. Her instructions were very clear and it was also nice to hear about some of her life experiences. She was also very kind to pick us up from the train station AND to drop us off to Takino nearby after class. I definitely can’t wait to show off my new skill in flower sushi making. Thank you so much Yuki-san!

Super fun sushi making class where we made some beautiful looking and delicious sushi. Yuki is very friendly and patient, letting us work at our own pace while giving us advice and talking about life in Sapporo. She was very kind and even picked us up from the train station. The area is very lovely and a cute cat topped the day off for us. Would highly recommend. Thanks again!

We got picked up in Yuki's car and came home to a cosy experience of green tea. Then we followed Yukis instructions to produce amazing flower shaped sushi, which we took home and enjoyed.

It was interesting and we really enjoyed the class. Yuki sensei is very kind and patient. You can talk to her about a lot of things besides making sushi. I recommend it to everyone, it's a great experience.
