Explore the cobbled streets and timbered houses of Kaysersberg, voted France's Favorite Town in 2017. See the Sainte Croix church, the fortified bridge and castle, and the Renaissance facade of the Faller-Brief House.
Start the tour at the Hôtel de Ville (Town Hall) in the central square, before making your way to the Sainte Croix church, mostly constructed in the Middle Ages. Next, visit the town's fortified bridge and castle, famous for their medieval towers.
Wander along cobbled streets of timbered houses before reaching the iconic Renaissance facades of the Faller-Brief House, built in 1594 by local cellarman Paul Offinger. Learn all about the culture of wine-making in Kaysersberg, one of the most important villages along the Alsacian Wine Route.
Finally, learn about the life of the polymath and Nobel Peace Prize winner Albert Schweitzer as you visit the house of his birth, before finishing the tour back at the town's central square.
