A Walking, Talking & Driving tour in & around Old San Juan

Lismar, from “Seeing Puerto Rico Tours & Transportation” treated us to 4 engrossing hours showing us & describing the history, culture & contemporary life of Old San Juan and its environments. Highlights were the unique blue cobblestones, huge bas relief across from the government building showing the beginnings with the indigenous people, to the Spaniards to today’s life, and the street art outside city center. The forts, food & walking through the district’s colorful architecture, some with cascading Orchids or Bougainvillea was also quite memorable. Highly recommended & worthwhile.

Lismar was exceptional! She knew everything about everything! The tour took us on a perfect walk around important landmarks of Old San Juan. Be prepared to walk up the inclines throughout the tour. Lismar was super nice and very energetic. She was a joy from the very beginning.

Very good way to begin your stay in Puerto Rico. Our guide was kind and interesting. His love and pride for his country was heart-warming. I had a wonderful time and learned a lot. Gave me ideas of what I may want to go back to do in Old San Juan later.
