My wife and I took this tour on Nov. 6th and It was outstanding. However, when our Uber driver dropped us off, we were concerned we might be in the wrong place. The starting point is in a working class area of town and we were a bit worried. As more tourists arrived our concerns lessened and when the tour guide arrived, we realized our concerns were unfounded.
The tour started with 4 sites in the immediate area where we watched and tasted the making of fresh handmade tortillas, they were excellent. We then traveled to a market that had numerous vendors displaying their fresh from the farm. meats, produce and cheeses for sale to the local eateries. We even got to taste a few samples. Next, we walked to a restaurant next door to sample the freshly prepared items. During this time, out tour guide Alan (?), informed us about the food and culture of the local area. From the meeting point, we proceeded on a 2 mile journey stopping at several restaurants that offer us a choice of delectable items to sample, all cooked as we waited eating chips and dip, a chocolate store and an ice cream truck. Inter spread with these stops, there was also a tequila tasting. The tour ended in front of the Misión San José del Cabo.
Throughout the tour, Alan continually pointed out items of interest and answered our questions. He did a great job as our guide.
Other then our own unfounded concerns, this tour could not have been any better. We highly recommend you give it a try. It's a 5 out of 5.
