Itinerary

  • Vinh Trang Temple

    Departing at 8:00 AM, from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel, heading to the Mekong Delta by minivan or bus. During the 1.5 hour drive, pass by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho. Along the way, we will visit Vinh Trang pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong delta. Continue to My Tho

    at the beautiful rural My Tho. Your morning trip continues from here by motorized boat on the Tien River to the Qui (Tortoise islet). On the way, see the fishing port, boat-building workshops, and the Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn Islet. Walk into the village, where you can visit a local fruit garden and enjoy the tropical fruit while listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by islanders. Here you also can join the daily activities of the local people and take in the atmosphere of this beautiful natural countryside. Visit the bee house, and take the picture of the pythons. Lunch will be served right in the heart of the orchard garden. The boat cruise will lead you through Bao Dinh canal, entering Ben Tre province.

    entering Ben Tre province — “the land of coconuts.” Here you’ll see a typical agricultural model called “Garden – Pond – Cage,” before visiting the coconut candy-making shop. Next, enjoy a rowing boat trip on the small canal, fully covered by the shadow of the water coconut trees. After your boat ride, take an electric car around the island before returning to the bus. You will arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City at around 4:30 to 5:00 PM.

Family of 8- great day out with Toan ☺️

Toan was a sensational tour guide. We learnt so much and had a fabulous day with him! With 4 children (7yrs to 12yrs) he was very accomodating. I would highly recommend this tour with Toan. Thank you for a great day!! Feeding the crocodiles was a highlight for the kids and myself! And the fruit was delicious- I could have eaten many more bowls of that pineapple- yummo!! Thank you for everything.

Our guide, Lucky, communicated with us via WhatsApp b4 picking us up. He was young, energetic, humorous & informative. He gave us a lot of background info & took good care of everyone in our small group of 9 ppl. He helped us take photos & shared info of HVMC. The trip is fun & relaxing. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing trip today to the Mekong Delta with our friendly guide, Mai. We had plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to wonderful local music while being served fresh, local fruit snacks.

The whole day was a series of enjoyable experiences guided and commentated expertly by our tour leader Nguyen Bac, from pick-up on time at our hotel to drop-off at the same point. The tour exceeded expectations and was very good value for money. The day was relaxing, interesting and informative. I would certainly recommend this tour and this particular guide and would probably repeat the tour on a future trip to Ho Chi Minh City.
