What a great way to experience, Japan. Koryu Kenjutsu experience was a great time. Instructors were friendly and gave great instruction on the first form that you learn. They also had an English translator, so it was very easy to communicate. I would recommend this class to all ages.

Bushido is being lost in modern Japan. You can learn what the essence of Bushido is from both a spiritual and practical perspective. This is the fundamental learning for understanding Japan. It was the first time in my life as a Japanese to be exposed to koryu swordsmanship, and I was very satisfied to be able to experience the origin of the art both physically and mentally. Sightseeing in Japan is of course recommended, but I believe that by learning about Japanese spirituality, you can get closer to the essence of what was the driving force behind Japan's breakthrough. It will be an experience that will have a great impact on your sense of values in life. 現代日本では失われつつある武士道。その真髄がどういうものか精神面と実践から学べます。日本を理解する上で根幹の学びがここにあります。日本人として生まれて初めて古流剣術に接しましたが、原点を心身共に体感でき大満足の内容でした。日本観光ももちろんお勧めですが、日本の精神性を知ることで、日本が躍進した原動力が何だったのか真髄に近づくことができると思います。人生の価値観に大きな影響を与える体験になることでしょう。

It is interesting to learn new things. First, I wore the hakama by that staff. Next, I experienced a tea ceremony. And, I held a sword and moved like a samurai. I was able to take photos. I had a very valuable experience.
