Overview

Salsa music and dance are a big aspect of the Puerto Rican lifestyle and culture. Learn the basics of it with or without a partner in a 1-hour beginner class! The park where the class is held is very centrally located with on walking-distance many bars and restaurants to have dinner and/or go out at night and practice what you have just learned! Your instructor is a talented, fun and dynamic dancer. Take your chance and learn from the best, have fun and enjoy! You will be guided through the first steps of Salsa dance at a beautiful outdoor location. After your class you will be ready in no time to hit the dance floor!

Our meeting point is at the gazebo shown in the photos. We ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class starting to check in and getting settled before starting promptly at 4:30pm. Free street parking all around but can be crowded.

Itinerary

Receive a 1 hour Salsa Dance Lesson. This is open to all levels, but tailored towards beginners. You do not need to come with a dance partner. Our instructors are all professionals and very talented! We ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class starting to check in and getting settled before starting promptly at 4:30pm.

Steve was great- I learned a lot & hopefully remember most of it after a few drinks lol Definitely bring some water bc you will be moving a lot.

An amazing experience with a wonderful instructor. The only issue that plagued the event were the late participants continuously calling during class. My instructor had graciously texted all participants at least two hours prior for reconfirmation and questions.

Derrette was awesome!!! Very knowledgeable, fun and made the basic moves so easy for us! She will download all the videos and pictures and send them to us soon :-)

Went as a couple, but seemed like a great class for a solo person as well! Derette did an amazing job and was also so incredibly kind & enthusiastic. We were ~20 mins late to the class because we couldn’t find any parking, but were able to get caught up quickly thanks to the design of the class.

Very nice instructor, lots of fun. He told us about things to do in the area, places to eat. I have friends coming next month. I recommended this experience
