Overview

A Sailing cruise around the gulf of Chania will give your vacations a different view of the city! We set sails every morning at 10am in the Old Venetian Harbour of Chania making a cruise around the gulf of Chania. We will make two stops, anchoring for swimming and relaxation, one at the nearby island of Ag.Theodori which is a protected area of "Natura" as it hosts many birds as well as the wild Cretan goat named "KRI-KRI", and the second stop will be in a secluded beach named "Maherida" and has beautiful turquoise waters. During the stops we will offer you traditional Cretan snacks, season fruits, drinks from the open bar and of course lunch that will be prepared onboard. snorkelling equipment will be provided as well to those who wish to explore the seabed!!! At about 5pm we will be back to the old Venetian port for disembarkation!!!

We will be waiting for you on the floated dock. We could pick up our guests from their accommodation at extra cost if needed.

Highlight of our trip to Chania

Absolutely incredible experience. A highlight of our time in Chania. Yiannis and Kostas were pros at sailing and were extremely kind to my family, even our shy 4 and 7 year olds loved them. Food and wine were perfect. What a day!

Magic on the Mediterranean

We highly recommend spending the day on this boat. We have done a lot of day cruises in the pacific and the Mediterranean. We have been on some great boats and sailed with some great crews. This is by far the best crew we have sailed with. The boat is impeccably maintained as well.

Perfect sailing experience

Yannis and Kostas were so awesome. They taylores our sail to our interests. We loved that we got to put the sails up and turn off the engine and enjoy a peaceful day. I highly recommend them for a beautiful sailing experience.

We had this tour booked through our travel agent. We were a family of 4 (kids 10 and 8yo). We booked this evening cruise for Aug 19 2024. We had an incredible time with Yanis and his crew mate. It was a 4 hours cruise to Ayioi Theodhoroi Island from Chania port. This is a family owned company. Yanis is a young captain and is very knowledgeable and super professional. His crew mate was equally nice and professional. We had good conversations and laughs. They were 2 crew for us 4, they made us feel super comfortable and cared for our needs as we liked. Although they might seem young (in their 20's), don't be fooled. We felt like they gave us a top-of-the-line world class service to the highest standards we'd expect. They know what they are doing, and we hope they keep it that way, this is what it should be. We anchored by the south bay and we enjoyed some snorkelling and some swimming. Waters were obviously crystal clear so it was a beautiful evening for us. Weather was super calm and no waves. Just perfect. We got served some beverages (alcohol and non-alcohol) and a dinner (fruits, typical Greek appetizers and some sandwiches) all pretty tasty. The kids were happy and so were we. We were able to walk around the sailboat and chill on the deck or at the front. It was super chill. They made us feel like it was our own boat. The crew always made sure we had everything we needed. At the end of the trip, we came back at sunset and it was magical. All in all we had a wonderful experience and we are 100% positive in recommending this tour to all of you travellers. These "kids" get it totally. We hope for them a bright and lucrative future. Note: They do morning and evening cruises in the same day for this particular route. Although we were their 2nd trip of the day, we never felt they were tired or in a rush to come back and close the shop. They work hard. Thanks again for this super experience. - From Canada
