  • The Venerable Thich Quang Duc Monument

    In 1963, the monk Thich Quang Duc set himself on fire to protest against anti-Buddhism policies of the Southern government. His sacrifice became legend and motion for many revolutions. To memorialize him, the Buddhists built a monument right at the place of his self-immolation. This is also our first stop of the tour.

  • The Secret Weapons Cellar

    Hidden in a corner of old town in district 3, a secret weapon bunker was built by Vietnamese soldiers to secretly transfer weapons for Independence Palace attack. Here you will explore the secret bunker, as well as make a pose with weapons inside. Don't worry, they are safe to hold!

  • Nguyen Thien Thuat Apartment Buildings

    The journey continues to one of the oldest apartment in Saigon, built in Vietnam wars many years ago. Next to it, one of the most popular market in the old town district 3 portraits the most local atmosphere. Surely these are the best places if you would love to explore true local life and stay away from touristy area.

    Vietnam, famous with its stunning coffee, is one of the must-go for those who are in love with this black liquid. If you find normal Vietnamese coffee too easy to get yourself, then we will introduce you to one of the most special place for coffee in Saigon. It is one of the oldest coffee shop since 1945. It has unique technique to brew coffee that you can't find many where else. And... there is no tourist at all! Except you, of course.

    With the history of 300 years, Thien Hau template hides itself from touristy site, laying on a street of the old China Town. Visiting here you will be stunned with those ancient beautiful architectures, together with the history that the Chinese-Vietnamese brought here when they immigrated here hundreds of years ago.

So many historic places we've been to on this tour. However, this tour is not just an ordinary one, as it takes you to some hidden gems that are fascinating to see and experience in this beautiful city. It was interesting to know about the Vietnamese culture, Saigon in particular. We went to historic local places, which was very exciting to see. This was our first tour that we've been on in Vietnam and it absolutely did not disappoint. The motorcycle ride made it more enjoyable. It was truly an adventure! We HIGHLY recommend Anh and Jadon (our tour guides) for this tour, as they were absolutely friendly, informative and will look after you during the trip. They are really knowledgeable about their local history. We are extremely thrilled that we've had them for our first ever tour in Vietnam, as they made sure they showed and told us a lot about their culture and traditions. Well done to you both!

A Must See Tour

To say I had an exceptional time with the tour is an understatement. It was the best idea for kick-starting my adventures in Vietnam. Ân, my tour guide, became my friend quickly. We were just like old friend hanging out. He was beyond knowledgeable of the culture and also sharing his first hand experience in the places we went to. I am beyond impressed with the colorful history and marvels of Saigon. I will recommend this tour, 10/5 stars. Additional 5 for Ân. I couldn't get enough of it hence why I will be inviting my friends over to share such memorable experience. They will surely have a blast just like I did.

It was so amazing to see the city from a local perspective, Jadon was so accomodating and friendly. Interesting learning history as we went, and trying the local drinks like coffee and sugar cane juice.

What a great way to explore the lesser known areas, the ones not on the regular 'tourist' map! Our guides Jadon and Hana were amazing guides, driving through the city on the back of a scooter is so much fun! They were also very knowledgeable about all the places we visited and the history. A must do tour to get a real glimpse into this wonderful city and it's amazing culture.
