Find out why this place is home to over 3,700 skeletons, with bones decorating the walls and the ceilings. As the twilight deepens, head to Rome's historic center, where each cobblestone has a dark tale. Feel a ghostly aura near the Trevi Fountain, a tragic love entwined with eternal longing, and tread softly by the Pantheon, where a gruesome tale is said to have inspired the tale of Sweeney Todd. Great Tour of Capuchin Crypts and Interesting Dark Stories Around Main Attractions

The tour of the crypts was fascinating. Our guide, Arielle, was super friendly and really knew her history about the Capuchins. She told some great stories about beheadings and executions in the Pantheon Square and the Piazza Navona as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Thanks Arielle!

Tour guide was awesome! She was personable and knowledgeable. My kids adored the tour. My kids are always interested in ghost walks and jumped at the opportunity to tour the crypt. Very much well worth it.

Arielle was excellent! Navigated us around Rome with fascinating dark history stories, and capuchin crypts. She was able to keep our group together weaving through crowds on a busy national holiday. My husband and I enjoyed every moment of this tour. Highly recommended.
