Rome to Florence day trip

Very smooth. Mateo met us at Cafe Trombetta at ~7 AM and gave us our round trip train tix. He gathered the group together around 7.50 AM and took us to our platform. After arriving in Florence he gave us basic instructions and handed us over to a local guide, who gave a nice tour of key spots of central Florence including a view of the Arno river. She subsequently gave us a tour of the Uffizi Gallery. After the Gallery tour, we were on our own. We met Mateo at the station close to six. He ensured we were on the return train to Rome. Overall a good and beautiful experience, especially given the Christmas season.

Was a great trip. Long day lots to see. Guides were great. The only thing we got picked up at the hotel in the morning would have been nice to be taken back to the hotel afterwards.

The entire day was wonderful. Gabriele, our main guide for the tour did a great job. He was accommodating and had so much to point out. He made us feel like family. We also had an additional local guide for the museum who was incredibly knowledgeable. We had plenty of alone time to explore the city. Simply an amazing experience. Recommend.
