Don’t Miss the Caracalla Baths !

The Caracalla Baths are astonishing. They were so huge, and lots of the building and mosaics have survived since it was built in about 212 AD. Our guide, Manolo, was excellent. She explained what each section of the baths were used for, and what they provided for ancient Romans. She was very knowledgeable about Roman history, and welcomed our questions. And there are no crowds at the Caracalla Baths !
