With our shopping in the market done, next, enjoy a warm welcome at a Moroccan Family House. Here, you'll join the chef's brigade and uncover the gastronomic secrets of Rabat. Learn Moroccan cooking techniques and create gourmet dishes in a lively, interactive setting. After the workshop, savor the full menu you’ve crafted, from appetizers to desserts, served with love and Moroccan hospitality. Celebrate your culinary adventure with a joyful Moroccan tea. Unleash your inner chef and create memories with us!

Itinerary

We'll begin at the designated meeting point with a brief overview of what to expect. During this introduction, we'll discuss the menu and present you with various options. You'll select according to your preferences, and then we'll head to the market to shop for the necessary ingredients. After our market visit, we'll walk directly to the family home and commence the cooking session, where we'll prepare a delicious three-course meal together. Once everything is ready, we'll sit down and enjoy the meal with the family.

Fantastic experience & wonderful food!

We totally loved this experience. I don’t usually book this kind of tour but really wanted to know more about delicious Moroccan food and I’m so glad we booked it. Mohammed is very friendly and knowledgable and after choosing a menu ( we wanted vegetarian and were given a number of options) he explained a lot about the market and choosing food etc which is just what I wanted. The event is in his local neighbourhood and he knows the market very well. His mother who is a professional chef, made us so welcome and made sure I was following everything so I could do it myself at home. It was such fun and both myself and my partner had a great night with lots of interesting chat about the culture and history of Morocco. The food was totally delicious. I would highly recommend Moroccan food tour and this class in particular!

This is fabulous! Walking through the market, they all know him and make suggestions along with his expertise we designed a menu for the day. Then to their home where I participated in preparing a traditional meal with his lovely and talented mother. They made me feel welcome and I learned tips I am taking home. We then shared the meal and I ate every bite!! I would do this again and recommend it to everyone coming to Rabat.

Family was amazing, food was amazing! Entire event was incredible, so much fun, and host family was so gracious and sweet. 10/10 would recommend to others to experience with this family. I could have stayed with them 2 more hours and enjoyed their company, home, and hospitality.
