Overview

Your half-day adventure begins with a morning, midday, or afternoon pickup from your Punta Cana hotel, when you board a vehicle to head to the nearby Quad Ranch. Upon arrival, you will receive a safety briefing and learn the controls of an ATV. Once you feel confident, you can embark on an off-road journey through lush tropical forests and plantations. Stop to sample Dominican chocolate, coffee, and rum at a local farm before continuing on to the Taíno Ecological Park, where you'll have the chance to take a dip in the freshwater hot springs. The tour culminates with a stop at Macao Beach, a stretch of sand surrounded by limestone cliffs, where you'll have time to relax and shop for souvenirs. The duration of the tour will be around 3 to 4 hours depending on the the speed while driving the ATV. Time driving between visited locations and might depend on the flow of the group. The return transfer occurs after returning to the offices where you took the quad.

Itinerary

Buggies and ATV punta cana

You will be picked up from your hotel in Punta Cana in the morning, noon or afternoon, arrive at the 4x4 Atv & Utv Ranch, receive a brief health and safety instruction from your friendly guide and this is when the fun begins. Start your engine and get ready for the adventure of your life.

Macao

The first Stop: You start the tour and discover spectacular places and feel the fresh breeze while you caress your face. Travel through difficult paths between forests and lush tropical gardens, you will arrive at an organic farm. Here you will learn facts about Dominican coconut oil, tobacco, and Mamajuana rum. You will also taste the rich flavor of Dominican coffee and homemade chocolate.

Macao Beach

Second stop: Easily one of the five most stunning beaches in the country, Playa Macao is wide, bright and fringed with palm trees and its waves have made it a favorite with surfers. It is located in the extreme north of the region of Punta Cana

Los Hoyos del Salado (Cenote)

Third stop: Holy Week, the water cave is only allowed to take photos, it is not allowed to bathe only until Sunday, April 4. Third stop: As you continue, admire picturesque typical Dominican houses, palm trees and banana plantations and share our most important natural resource, the Taíno Ecological Park. Once there, enjoy an impressive natural landscape, immerse yourself and refresh yourself in a spring of pure and crystalline water.

Awesome quad bike adventure

Took us through dirt muddy roads on ATV’s to a beautiful beach and a cave. Be aware you will be asked by merchants to check out their shops at each destination. Otherwise friendly staff, good jokes, and we all competed in a pull up competition at the cave! Great experience overall and would recommend to anyone who doesn’t mind getting dirty and having a fun adventure!

Dope day trip! Julio is the man! Macao beach is crazy beautiful don’t get caught up in buying things on the way if you don’t want to it is expensive!

Julio and team took my wife and I around for the half day trip and it was fantastic! They were receptive to every need and were very kind through the entire process and ride. I would highly recommend taking this adventure with the Julio and Team! A+ plus!!
