We loved this trip. Luis is lovely man, very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, cultures and history of his homeland. His appreciation for the surroundings is inspiring. We were also blessed with a superb driver Enzo who navigated Routes unimaginable to us! Thanks to both who really looked after us x

An Unforgettable Experience

Amazing guide, great program. The lunch in the middle of the salt desert was so good and well put together. Our guide was an expert in photography and helped us make the best pictures from the various areas we visited. The coordination and professionalism ahead of the tour was also excellent. Overall, Hidalgo made this experience absolutely memorable and we really appreciate it.

Magical Experience - best guide & driver who went above and beyond

We went on a 3D2N tour starting at the Uyuni Salt Flats and ending at the Chilean Atacama desert. The trip was magical - our highlights were the salt flats, hot springs and a hike to the cactus islands. It was pretty cold, and I highly recommend buying winter gear in the artist market that you initially go to (very affordable prices too) or bringing it from the getgo. Our guide, Jose Luis, and driver, Santiago went above and beyond and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Jose Luis is a talented flutist who kindly performed for us in the magic of the salt flats, in caves, and it enhanced the otherworldly sensation of the landscapes. They were both incredibly friendly, accommodating (we wanted to skip the train cemetery), and patient with our needs, and made us feel extremely comfortable. Thanks again Jose and Santiago!

Best experience ever!

One the most amazing trips we have ever done! Hidalgo tours offered us an excellent service. Day 1: They pick us up at the border with Chile (Hito Cajon) and from there we drove through the Bolivian altiplano and stopping in the lagoons (Blanca, verde and colorada). Guimer our drove a very comfortable 4x4. He is an excellent driver! Calm and confident. The roads where off road! On the other hand Jenny our guide was also excellent, knowledgeable, always ready to answer our questions and also very sweet and nice person. Day 2 we carried out through the altiplano and they took us to amazing places never seen before. It was like being in another planet. The 2 last night where in Palacio de Sal Hotel. 10/10. Big rooms, big bathroom, clean, comfortable, amazing! Day 3 we went to the Uyuni flat which is literally beside the hotel. We had lunch in the middle of the flat with no one around, we visited all the sites within the flat and at the evening they took us to the wet part of the flat to see the sunset. Absolutely stunning! We had bolivian red wine and we enjoyed the most amazing views we have ever seen! Finally, we fully recommend Hidalgo Tours! Before arriving Pedro Pablo who sold us the package was always available to answer our questions and doubts. He also always gave us the right advise !
