Tremendous guide and driver. Tour was very well organized and I was able to see a number of beautiful sites and natural attractions. The front office staff was very helpful and super friendly.

Ivan was our guide. He didn't speak English (except yes/no), but he spook really slow Spanish so we could understand most of it. The money we paid for an English guide we got back (after we asked for it). Ivan was a lovely guide, a good driver, and a really good photographer. The first night in Salt Hotel was lovely. The second night hostal was basic. 3 days is more than enough. It is a beautiful area to drive through.

A Terrific Three Days

The itinerary and the guide were great. The hostels were not nearly as basic as I’d been lead to believe, which was a nice surprise. There’s a lot of time spent in the car on days 2 & 3. It’s fascinating to see the Bolivian countryside.

My highlight of South America

I have done some amazing trips in South America but the 3 day Uyuni salt flats tour was my highlight. The company is fantastic, great communication and organisation. Our guide, David, was amazing. He went out of his way to share special places and things that other companies don’t bother with. This made our trip special and packed with amazing memories. You are warned the the accommodation is basic, particularly the second night, and without doubt it is but you need to embrace this and reflect on the fact that we live a charmed and luxurious lifestyle compared to most people. The scenery is varied and spectacular by any standards, as a New Zealander I’m accustomed to amazing landscapes but the 3 days I spent on this trip will stay with me forever. Thank you David and Skyline for everything.
