Overview

Within the activities of this tour, it will be bird watching, sailing in an ecological way without motor. We will swim in the places with the most crystalline water. we will eat exotic local seasonal fruit. With only your group, of family and friends on board. We will provide an unforgettable experience, where we will enter the immensity of the Bacalar lagoon; we will see the beauty of birds, mangroves and the most remote places from tourism. The catamaran tour offers us an approach to the entire Laguna ecosystem, in an ecological way, enjoying the speed, the wind and the sails.

We are a few minutes from the Emerald cenote, next door to the Aluxes restaurant. in the bhuo lagoon hotel. 15 minutes before the meeting time.

Itinerary

We will meet at the Bertilla Lagoon.The Captain Sara is waiting for you to give you all the instructions of the catamaran adventure and we will start the adventure. We will go south towards the Esmeralda and Cocalítos cenote, already deep in the southern zone we will appreciate its crystal clear waters due to the presence of stromatolites. The landscapes become jungle, mangroves and wetlands, we will immerse ourselves in the silence of the area that, together with the movement of the boat, generate feelings of relaxation and peace. We will stop at the abandoned pier where you can cool off as Sara prepares a delicious seasonal fruit snack. We will continue our journey to the island of birds, a sanctuary for local and migratory birds where we will also stop to swim in its warm waters and appreciate the sunset that its landscape offers us. Returning to our starting point wrapped in sails, wind and speed and already with all of Bacalar under our skin.

Great captain, really knowledgeable

Captain Sara was a wealth of knowledge about the ecosystem and happenings of the Lagoon. She speaks English really well and is extremely nice person in general. I’d love to go back and learn to sail with her she’s that good, we flew all around the lagoon with ease . She has immersed herself in the culture of bacalar and made my wife and I’s experience spectacular.

Beatiful people in amazing place. Very nice sailing experice. They offer us fresh fruit as mango, water melon, melon and cold water. Sara and Valentina are very friendly and kind. We totaly raccomend this tour.
