We had the most wonderful time experiencing the Bacalar Lagoon on a beautiful red sail boat with the best sailors Hector and Franco! Cold beer, fresh fruit and guacamole made on board with good company, we would definitely recommend this to anyone

We had an amazing day with Sailing Colibri exploring the lagoon of Bacalar. The crew was super nice and the fruits and guacamole they offered us were delicious! 100% recommended!

Our experience was one that resonated a tranquil journey which took us to the popular places on the lagoon without the crazy music and constant noise.. Franco and Ryan knew all the details of the lagoon and provided a wonderful day of peace. Upon booking the communication and response was impeccable and while our trip needed to be rescheduled due to an overbook, we actually had wanted the day they suggested. The electric motor got us to our destinations- along with the slight breeze and sails, that allowed a little co friendly journey which I appreciated due to the lack of exhaust present.. The fruits, guacamole and beverages were welcomed with gusto and we truly enjoyed the company of these two wonderful people. While it is not the least expensive I truly felt that this met our needs in every way!! Mucho gracias!!!

For all of us, this sailing trip with Miguel was great and one of our best memories during our trip to the Yucatan Peninsula. Miguel speaks French very well, he is super friendly and gave us a lot of information about the Bacalar lagoon. We felt he was passionate about what he did. It was a real pleasure to chat with him. This outing was super restful and relaxing. We felt super privileged to be on Miguel's sailboat when we saw other tourists on motorboats, noisy, sometimes with loud music! And the icing on the cake, Miguel served us delicious and beautifully presented fruit as well as an exceptional Guacamole, the best we ate during our trip. In short, it was a real pleasure to discover the Bacalar lagoon with Miguel. THANK YOU!

Unforgettable Experience

Bacalar has been a dream destination for many years. I never could’ve imagined experiencing the beauty of Bacalar from a sailboat. My husband and I sailed privately with the crew and it felt as if we were living a luxurious life at an affordable cost. The Captain (Miguel) and his first mate (Diego) were not only knowledgeable in navigating the boat, but also provided insightful information about the history of Bacalar and the areas of the Laguna. I appreciated that the crew took pride in every aspect of the trip (especially our safety). The fresh fruit and guacamole was incredible and the crew ensured we had plenty of cold beverages for the duration of the trip. Sailing on the Calibri was an unforgettable experience. Pictures do no justice in comparison to the beauty and colors of the water in person. I highly recommend this sailboat tour and everything it has to offer.
