Itinerary

After a short begginer friendly briefing on how to use the paddleboard, we'll start our way across the Bacalar lagoon. We will reach to a special spot for breakfast (fresh fruit, special coffee and delicious Nutella toast) all while enjoying the magical sunrise. This is not only sightseeing tour but a history, geo and biology explanations charged experience. From to how cenotes are created, to the 3 reasons that make Bacalar Unique in the world, to how to tell the difference between live and dead Stromatolites, to the history of pirates and the special tree they almost cleared from the area, and of course, my bad jokes There even will be time for a meditation sesh. Instructions are easy: Lay on your board, focus on how many birds you can hear and let the stress melt away Throughout the journey I'll be taking candid pictures and after the trip, you'll receive a link with all your epic adventure time memories. Throughout the journey the guide will be taking pictures with a GoPro camera so you dont have to worry about getting your phone wet :)

Sunrise Paddle for a Newbie

This sunrise paddle board tour was amazing! I had never paddle boarded before but I felt so assured by Jorge that I could. We set out in the dark and experienced the beauty of the dawn as we paddled. It was such a calming experience to greet the day on the water and then listen to the birds during our meditation. As we returned through the Mayan Canal I decided that I was ready to try standing on the paddle board. Jorge was an amazing teacher and supporter of my first stand! You will love his tour!!

Jorge & Enrique gave us this morning a truly amazing sunrise experience, despite the sun even be mostly behind the clouds. The breakfast on the lake was great, their guidance and information perfectly clear and we covered parts of the lake that boat tours don’t cover! Thanks guys!

Adventure, sunrise, active, relaxing, good guide!

At first it was a little mysterious, going on the board in complete darkness. After about 5 minutes we saw a couple of falling stars as we paddled on the lagoon towards the pirate's canal where we would see the sunrise. Our very friendly and experienced tour guide had us 'ankered' for a little breakfast and then took us to the meditation part(my personal highlight) Here you let the wind just take you over the water with no other tourists around (other than your group) Youll listen to nothing else but the birds and the nature while laying on your board. If you like a little adventure and don't want to be with to many other people around, just nature, go on this tour!

Beautiful and unique experience

We went paddleboarding with our guide Jorge. The tour started early in the morning, so that we could watch the sunrise while on the water. It was a beautiful and unique experience. Jorge told us some things about the lagoon and offered great explanation on how to row on the paddleboard. He was very nice and gave positive energy. Would definitely recommend Jorge as a guide. He also took photos during the activity. Looking forward to them!
