Be on a private tour in two wineries and one olive mill and have an enjoyable day, tasting local products. It's not just a tour driving you from one winery to the other one. It's an adventurous tour with lunch time also at the Samaria Gorge Entrance. Sommeliers, wine, and olive oil producers, as more professional in their sector, will inform you about the wine and olive oil production when they serve you. Enjoy 10 in total wines, 5 indigenous and international grape varieties to each winery and 2 olive oils, accompanied by Cretan snacks. Driving downhill from 1200m (4000ft) we stop at 1000m (3300ft) altitude to enjoy the view from above and take photos. Heading to Chania you will see enough changes in nature's beauty. From the forest with cypress trees , in a short distance we are to the valley with lemon, orange, avocado and olive trees again. We will cross in driving the villages, Omalos, Lakki, Fournes and Alikianos before to drive you back to your hotels.

Excellent choice to see Samaria Gorge!

We had a perfect day with Nikolas taking us around the Cretan countryside. He was able to give us a lot of information about the history of the area and local life. All of the planned stops were well thought out. Lunch overlooking the Samarian Gorge was off the charts. Delicious food and the view was simply stunning. If you want to see the Gorge but not hike it, this is the trip for you. Highly recommend!

This was probably our favorite tour we did on Crete. Our tour guide George made the trip great, he was very knowledgeable and attentive. Driving around the mountains was stunning with amazing scenery. The wineries were great and beautifully situated. I really enjoyed seeing all the old olive trees. Overall a great trip, very glad we chose this tour.

We were on vacations in Chania again and we decided to do another tour with Chania Adventures, as we did a few years ago. Their suggestion was to book a new tour and to visit 2 wineries and an olive mill. Lunchtime and 5 wine at Manousaki's winery, 6 wine and 2 olive oils at Anoskeli's winery and olive mill. It is true that there are no reviews for that tour and we were not so sure to book that one or another with reviews! Finally Nasos suggestion was excellent. One more enjoyable day! Pick up on time, clean vehicles, A/C, a group of 4, driving on rough roads, tastings, tasty local food. Excellent! Thank you Nasos!
