Overview

Santa María and Chileno Bays are the best spots in Cabo for swimming and snorkeling. Santa María is surrounded by cliffs that make an ideal setting to start our kayak experience. Colorful fish swim right around your legs! They aren’t afraid of humans at all. They come close to greet you! A short kayak ride to the east takes you to some beautiful tidal pools to explore. The finger reef provides calm and shallow waters, great for snorkeling. Here not only fish but eels, starfish, urchins, and even turtles can be your swimming companions.

For cruise ship passengers: As you walk from the tender pier through the pier security gate, turn right on the red sidewalk that borders the harbor. The Gali Plaza will be on your left, the water on your right. Walk approximately 20 yards to the Cruise Terminal building. The building ... will be on your left and has a sign saying API in blue letters. Enter the terminal building and walk to the far side where you will exit onto a parking lot. At the parking lot exit, you will see an Oxxo convenience store. Your guide will be waiting in front of the store. Exact location: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (Oxxo) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico. If you are driving yourself: The meeting point is at the Plaza Gali parking lot, which is located right in front of the Sandos Finisterra Hotel. We will meet you in front of the OXXO convenience store which is located at the exit of the parking lot. Exact location: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (OxxO) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico. If you choose our complimentary transport service: Our round trip transportation covers hotels in San Jose del Cabo, the corridor, and the Cabo San Lucas tourist area. Pick up is approximately one hour before the start of your tour. Upon booking, you can specify your exact hotel.     Once we arrive at Chileno, we take the kayaks out of the water while our customers rest at the beach camp !! Ready to snorkel?? this is the place where we will find corals, multicolored fish and if we are locky turtles, octopus.... !! Let's see what nature give us!!

  • At the time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at the time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time, and re-boarding time.
  • We do not use boats, all our water activities start from the beach.
  • Participants must be at least 6 years old. Max. weight on tandem kayaks is 195kg/425lbs.
  • The price per person is the same for both children and adults.
  • Our activities take place on the beach and there are no locker facilities, however, you can safely leave your personal belongings in the transportation.
  • Since this is a private tour, you can decide whether or not to complete the full activity.
  • You have the option to choose your preferred pick-up time within the specified time frame, as it is a private tour.
  • We recommend as early a start as possible as in the mornings there is less wind and fewer waves, so the conditions are usually more favorable.
  • Group size Minimum 3, maximum 10
  • All transfers are complementary and optional, therefore the price doesn’t change if you don’t use the transfer option.
  • As we know the weather is a factor that can lead us to modify our day, sometimes we will have to change location, reschedule and / or cancel (the refund will be issued 100% in case of cancellation by us). You will be informed of the options and you will make the decision. Factors that could influence this are rain, high swell, wind and jellyfish.
  • Your safety is our priority, when the conditions are not favorable, due to wind, high waves, or a tropical storm, we offer to change the day of your reservation or make a refund.
  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. No show or last minute cancellation will be charged in full. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Fun day with Kayaks

Maury Sanchez was our tour guide, It was so much fun , the kayaks and snorkeling were amazing and all throughout the trip Maury made sure we had fun and we were safe.

Fishes and delts

Don't hold back, let those rear delts light on fire, paddle with an intensity that makes your protein shake shake. If your not keeping up with Paco, jump in the ocean. These guys mean muscle. Then hit the snorkel and bob for fresh beautiful fishes loaded with omega 3 fatty acids and packed with protein.

The perfect low-key Adventure!

We had such a fantastic time with Hugo & Paco as our guides! They picked us up right at the resort in a comfortable van with great AC, which was a plus. They gave us clear, helpful instructions and tips for the kayaks, instructed us in ocean safety, made sure we steered clear from any potentially dangerous waves/conditions, and shared some fun facts about the area. Paco stopped at a beach about halfway to the arch with a couple ladies who decided to wait there, and Hugo took the rest of the group to the arch. We got close (while still keeping a safe distance) to some sea lions sun bathing on rocks and saw many pelicans. We snorkeled in a safe area for about 35 minutes and saw a few fish (the water wasn't super clear and my husband got a bit scraped up when strong waves pushed him into some large rocks, but we still enjoyed it). All in all it was the perfect balance of fun while not too being too exhausting! It was about a 2 mile round trip in the kayaks, which sounded daunting but really wasn't bad at all. Hugo & Paco were fun to talk to and gave us some local insight and recommendations on what to do in the area, which we were excited about. Would definitely recommend, especially if you get those two guides!

Morey and Emilio where amazing!! We had so much fun, they were knowledge and always had our safety in mind. Kayaking wad a work out and felt great.Snokling is beautiful. I highly recommend this tour so fun!!
