Gunung Kawi Rocky Temple is one of the most famous Bali Places of Interest in order to get to this archeological site, we need to walk down to the valley on a couple hundreds step. There are some shops along the way selling typical tourist stuff although they also sell some unique handicrafts like coconut shell carving and bone carving. Bone carvings are indeed available all over Bali but its originally from this village. Some of talented carver specializing in carving the bone or even ivory are coming from this area. Located on the cool western edge of Bedulu Village, six kilometers out of central Ubud, you do not need more than an hour to descend to its relic filled courtyard and view the rock-wall carvings, a central meditational cave, bathing pools and fountains. The temple name is slightly misleading, lending the impression that its a gigantic dwelling full of elephants.

Temple tour , we enjoyed a lot. Apart of Besakih Temple we saw 4 other Temples that were really amazing. Tour worth of making and sure with our punctual and very friendly guide Yuda who is very recommendable

We had a great day exploring temples around Bali! Our driver Hari Budi took us to all the sites and served as our guide and photographer. Lunch was very good, with an amazing view of the rice terraces.
