Tirta Empul temple is a Hindu Balinese water temple located near the town of Tampaksiring, Bali. The temple compound consists of a petirtaan or bathing structure, famous for its holy spring water, where Balinese Hindus go to for ritual purification. The temple pond has a spring which gives out fresh water regularly, which Balinese Hindus consider to be holy or amritha. Tirta Empul means Holy Spring in Balinese.

Pura Besakih is a temple complex in the village of Besakih on the slopes of Mount Agung in eastern Bali. It is considered as the most important temple, the largest and the holiest temple of Hindu religion in Bali, and one of a series of Balinese temples. Perched nearly 1000 meters up the side of Gunung Agung, it is an extensive complex of 23 separate but related temples with the largest and most important being Pura Penataran Agung. The temple is built on six levels, terraced up the slope.

Mr Wayan did a really good Job showing us 4 different temples and providing really good context. His Knowledge about hinduism is very big. But sometimes there was a little language barrier. The lunch (a buffet) was included and very delicious. We also did a Tee and coffee tour (included), but that wasnāt really good because of the Guide (Not Wayan), who rushed through the garden without providing any information about the different plants. But this isnāt Mr Wayans fault!

The tour is incredible, we saw beautiful temples and crafts of local people. Our guide Mr Wayan was absolutely incredible, his knowledge and love of all the places we went to is simply the best, would 100% recommend him.
