Overview

This tour combines culture, history, stunning views, unique landmarks, aromas awakening all of your senses and all that while touring on the shore around the active crater of a volcano on an island of explosive beauty- literally speaking. We will visit 2 of the most popular sites on the island, the excavations of Akrotiri and the Red Beach, followed by a drive to the highest point of the island and a visit to a beautiful traditional settlement. Santorinian wines come from ancient vine varieties indegenous to Santorini. The unique volcanic earth and clima of Santorini enhances the taste and aroma of its wines, with unique characteristics making it an exclusive experience for the traveler.

Akrotiri Archaeological Site

A visit to Akrotiri Ancient excavation settlement, where guests enjoy a time travelling experience in a 6.000 year old city, making it one of the most important archaeological sites in the Mediterranean.

Red Beach

Red beach from above, a stop to take photographs of this unique coloured volcanic beach. Guest during summer time have the option to buy refreshments from the local stands.

Profitis Ilias

We will drive all the way up the highest point of the island, where Prophet Ilias Monastery is located, to get a bird's eye view of Santorini. A panoramic view of the mainland, coasts and the volcanic islands.

Pyrgos

After Mesa Vouno mountain top, we will descend to the picturesque village of Pyrgos to walk through the narrow cobblestoned paths that lead all the way to the castle walls and blue domed church.

Exo Gonia

Our next stop is a winery in Exo Gonia town where we will enjoy wine tasting of several labels to conclude our day.

Educational and fun! It combines 3 of the best parts of Santorini, good wine, archaeological site and caldera views for photos! A memorable tour. I have booked this for many of my hotel guests and I have also attended myself a couple of times with friends visiting! A must do tour to see Santorinis highlights! What a unique experience. Emmy generously picked us up, drove us through Santorini while sharing historic details about the island, stopped at a couple landmarks for pictures, and then brought us to the studio. At the studio, you’ll meet Andreas and his wife who are skilled in the art of pottery. Andreas is a kind soul with a comedic side to him. You’ll hang out, maybe enjoy some wine made from his vineyard, and be walked through the pottery-making process. You’ll have the option to have your art sent home at an additional fee, and Emmy is happy to provide more than enough recommendations for the rest of your time in Santorini. This is a beautiful experience that truly immerses you in all facets of the Greek culture!

santorini is a great island to see .we had a great time with my wife in santorini . it would have been nice if we had more time to spend. people are very friendly and the walk path are really narrow and you can meet people easily walking on the street. great place to spend honey moon. we love it and we highly recommend

Excellent experience, a wonderfull day! Great girls !

It was a fantastic experience with great company. Emmy and Alex was the best companion for me and my friend . We enjoyed our visit at the the 3 wineries. Local wines are wonderfull we laughed a lot... And at the end they helped us with our accomontation. We changed our plans and stayed for 3 more days at the island, Emmy and Alex booked for us a new house in a wonderfull village beacuse we couldn 't extent our reservation at the same building . We visited the red beach also beacuse i always wanted to see what s going on there ...and it is so red really... Thank you for all !!! We will came back at the island and enjoy again our vacations with you! Girls, you are wonderful!
