Liz was warm, friendly and was so informative. She talked along the way about Hong Kong and answered questions easily. She knew many people in Tai O and walked us through easily and helped us with a few little purchases and made sure to find us a few snacks to try along the way. She took pictures for us, and checked they were good. We climbed the Tian Tan, which wasn’t nearly as bad as I anticipated. It’s and incredible sight. The monastery was beautiful. All in all, a wonderful day.
If you have any disabilities, let them know prior and you can get a ride nearly to the top of the Buddha, but it truly was worth climbing even if you’re not in the best shape.
