Overview

Guided tour of ancient Pompeii excavations led by a local expert and including all the highlights. The visit is led by a top-rated local guide. You will see the petrified bodies, the pleasure houses, the thermal baths, the forum and many other great sites.

Meeting points

The guide will wait for you at the entrance of the Coffee shop Vittoria, close to Porta Marina Inferiore entrance. Be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the starting time, in case of any delay the guide WILL NOT wait since it is a group tour and the entrance tickets are booked for that time.

I chose this tour because I wanted a small, intimate group, and with someone who really knew their stuff. Well, we were not disappointed! The guide (totally forgot to get his name) walked us through many places and fully explained everything we were looking at. It was a fantastic experience and he made the (more than) two hour tour a delight.
