Overview

Pompeii Positano are two of the most famous destinations in Campania, each with its own unique charm. Pompeii is known for the ancient ruins of the city of the same name buried by the eruption of Vesuvius. Positano is a charming coastal village, famous for its narrow streets, pastel-colored houses and breathtaking views. If you find yourself in the restaurant La Tagliata (REMEMBER THAT LUNCH IS NOT INCLUDED) in Positano is located on a hill in Montepertuso above Positano, it offers an incredible view of the Amalfi Coast. The terraces of the restaurant are perfect for taking memorable photos. After lunch or dinner you can go down to Positano and stroll through the center.

  • Pompeii Archaeological Park

    Pompeii is an extraordinary archaeological site Here's what you absolutely must see: Pompeii Forum: The heart of the city, where political, economic and religious activities took place. Here are the remains of the Temple of Jupiter, the Basilica and the Macellum. Pompeii Amphitheatre: One of the oldest Roman amphitheatres (dating back to 80 BC), used for shows and gladiator fights. Lupanar: The ancient brothel of Pompeii, with small rooms and erotic frescoes indicating the "specialties" offered. Stabian Baths: One of the oldest thermal complexes in Rome, with rooms for hot and cold baths and saunas. Teatro Grande and Teatro Piccolo: Two well-preserved theatres, used for theatrical and musical performances. From the Teatro Grande you can enjoy a splendid view of Vesuvius.

    Positano is one of the most iconic villages on the Amalfi Coast, with its colorful houses overlooking the sea and its picturesque streets. Here are the main attractions to visit: Spiaggia Grande: The main beach of Positano, perfect for relaxing and admiring the spectacular view of the houses perched on the rocks. Here you will find bars, restaurants and exclusive clubs. Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta: Symbol of Positano, it is famous for its colorful majolica dome and for the Byzantine icon of the Black Madonna, kept inside. Spiaggia di Fornillo: Quieter than Spiaggia Grande, it can be reached with a panoramic walk and offers a more relaxed atmosphere.

Great tour and Company for family tours.

This was one of the most fantastic days of our entire trip. Francesco was a really really good guide for the day. He was on time and picked us up at our ships exit. He took us directly to Pompeii and arranged for the most amazing tour guide, Grace. She did an amazing job with our family on the tour. I would highly recommend having them set you up with a tour guide like her for your trip to Pompeii. The site is overwhelming, and she can guide you to see some very important parts of the site and educate you on Pompeii. it is also clear that she cares deeply about sharing the stories of Pompeii as she is from and lives there. It was a great great tour. Then took us through the beautiful drive to Positano and waited as we had lunch at Tagliata, which was our favorite restaurant of our entire trip. All in all it was a great day, and I would absolutely recommend doing it to anyone thinking about a cruise excursion from Naples.

Great time! We booked this as a private tour. Francesco and Davide picked us up at the train station, drove us to all the sites with stops for pictures along the way. Lunch at La Tagliata is a must.

Fantastic tour! This was one of our favorite tours while in Italy. Lunch at LaTagliata was fantastic! The food and the views are exceptional. John, our guide, was inormative and really knows the area. I would recommend this tour to all who visit the area! Thanks John for such a great experience!
